Gabbinbar Homestead Wedding Kelly and Myles

“I wanted to elope but Myles wanted a huge wedding so off I went to plan this big beautiful wedding with only one major request and that was to have a videographer. I wanted to be able to look on our day and catch anything I missed. I was pretty bad and kept putting it off with the dread that by the time I booked I wouldn’t get my first pick. Luckily enough I came across Motion Art at the right time. Geoff was exactly what we needed.”

“He had a great understanding of what we wanted and was able to tailor a package that was right for us. During the day we didn’t feel like he was in the way or overbearing, it just felt natural and easy to have him filming as we got ready with our bridal party. I think I’ve watched our highlight video over a thousand times it’s the best thing I think I’ve ever seen. It’s beautifully edited and takes me right back to my day. It’s the best reminder I could ever have.”

“The day of the wedding was very chilled out, I expected to be a stressed out mess but I figured I had done everything I could and now it was in the hands of everyone else who were more than happy to help pull my vision together. About 1pm is when I realised I would be walking down the aisle in a very short while and I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed with emotion.”

“I was also very over the moon my dad had agreed to walk me down the aisle, about half an hour before the ceremony I gave him his corsage and that was the moment I started crying, after I had all my make up done! Everything after leaving the room to walk down the aisle was a blur. I couldn’t believe how amazing everything came together and how lovely all the boys and girls looked. It was definitely the best day of our lives.”

“It took me about two years to plan our wedding. Every person I chose from Josh our amazing celebrant, Zara our amazing photographer to Geoff our amazing videographer I did a significant amount of research on to ensure the best fit and I was over the moon with their experience and calmness of the day I couldn’t believe their professionalism and ability to chill out and have a great laugh with us. I definitely recommend them all to any of our friends that are getting married.”

“The first time I tried on my dress it was the third store I had been to. I’d had done a bit of searching online and came across exactly what I was looking for. I booked an appointment and off I went. I left it to last and tried on a multitude of different types and everything felt wrong. When I put my dress on I knew it was the one and it being on sale for half the price definitely didn’t hurt. I picked it out about a year and a half before the wedding and even by the time the wedding came round I was still extremely in love with it.”

“I originally wanted a beach wedding but it didn’t quite feel right for us so when Gabbinbar Homestead popped up as an ad on Facebook we thought why not? We arranged to walk through and couldn’t help but fall in love. A rustic country style wedding seemed like the perfect fit. Everything was made so much easier by the help of all the staff from the wedding planning team down to all the waiters on the night. Everyone absolutely adored the food, it was to die for. I haven’t heard one complaint from any of my guest on the venue and experience they had.”
