I was really looking forward to this wedding shoot and, after meeting up with Jasmine a week before over coffee, I was even more so. She had me excited about what the day as well and I knew it would be perfect. This was only the second time I have filmed at the The Southport School Chapel and what a setting it was for a ceremony.
The rain stayed away and the sun stayed around long enough for me and photographer Derek Smith (who makes a cameo) to get some stunning shots. We had Jasmine spin in her wedding dress near a colorful tree and when a certain tiny guest joined in the fun it made for a magical moment. The candid shots I captured during the photo session really shows off their personalities and is what my style is all about.
Allure did the girls hair and makeup and they are brilliant. Check out their site here.

Hi Geoff,
I'm showing my age I know, but I thought that photographers and video guys got in the road on the day and diminished the experience for those attending, but I was wrong. Both you and Derek were almost invisible and it is unbelievable to think that you have produced such a wonderful memory without being in our face. Thank you. And I can't wait to see the final product.
Jazzie, you were SO beautiful!
Cheers, Heather. (June 16, 2010 - 8:28 pm)

Melynda & Michael were married at the Sheraton on the Gold Coast. The daylight was perfect for this shoot which made so many colours stand out.
The ceremony had a very special moment when Michael actually made vows to Melynda’s daughter, Bailey, which you will see a snippet of in the clip. It was quite a touching moment and something I have never witnessed before.
Alongside me was Derek Smith of Derek Smith Photography who I have worked with many times this year. The ceremony service was performed by civil celebrant Marilyn Gall who is also the bride’s Aunt. It always makes the day go so smoothly when you are surrounded by talented professionals and a great, easy going and fun couple.
This will be our final wedding highlights video for 2009 and we look forward to discovering new places and meeting many new people in 2010. Enjoy!

“Wow, we are blown away with the video, you are extremely talented!! To put together and capture all of our special moments is amazing, in such a short time!! Cannot wait for the full DVD version!!! WOW WOW WOW!!! Thank You Geoff!” – Sheree
I think Sheree and Adam were one of the most excitable couples I have ever had the pleasure in filming for. Definitely the first two to dance out of their ceremony and then again into their reception! They are from Melbourne and this was a holiday wedding for them.
They had the big event at Robina Woods on the Gold Coast – a venue I know pretty well. With Derek, from Derek Smith photography, we had a ball during the bridal party photos and it shows in the video. Also watch out for the page boys in the beginning of the clip – some great shots there.

I always see something different at every wedding I film and this one didn’t disappoint. Madeline and Dallas emulated the dance from the movie The Mask within their bridal waltz, and they nailed it perfectly!
Ceremony was held at The Hyatt, Sanctuary Cove with the reception at Arundel Hills Golf Club. Your comments are most welcome and can be added below.
Bonus video: The entire “Mask” waltz can be see by clicking here, and in HD as well if you click the HQ option in the bottom part of the box.

“Geoff You DID THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD. We would not hesitate to recommend you to all our friends and family in the future. You were so reliable and fun to be around, you made the day really easy for us. The video Is just amazing, We feel so lucky to have you there on such a special day in our lives. You Went over and beyond and you stayed till the very last song, when the doors where closing. You would start to pack up and then unpack again because u wanted to just make it that much more special for us, and get every bit of such an important day in our lives.
You are Very professional, and we had the best day of our lives, our family, friends AND Dave and I, have watched the dvd over and over again, We cannot wait to see the finishing product. The wedding day was absolutely breathtaking, and its great to see what 18 months of hard work can do, when you see the final result on the video-
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.” – Monique and David Berryman
Monique & Dave were married at the Hyatt Regency chapel in Sanctuary Cove and had a very lavish reception at Versace in Main Beach.
Six tapes later this was easily the longest wedding shoot I have done to date and the day had a bit of everything. The groom and groomsmen arrived via helicopter and had a clear view from the sky. Additional photos were taken at Main Beach and were taken by Derek Smith of Derek Smith Photography.
