Nikki & Talon traveled all the way from San Francisco to have their wedding at An Island Hideaway on South Stradbroke Island. It was a small wedding party, but it was great to hear the American accent again and we had a blast in the short time we spent together.
This video isn’t the typical cinematic trailer you may be used to seeing. As a special request, Talon’s mother wanted to see something over the Internet of her son’s wedding to easily share with family and friends. I re edited parts of their day and this short clip includes their declaration of marriage and photo location shoot.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Just finished watching our wedding again after like the 20th time and its still amazing! You captured everything from our goofy moments to our mushy ones. We could not be more pleased with the way things turned out! I cannot wait to show it to my mom and dad, there will definitely be some tears!...! My personal favorite part is the ending with pictures that come to life with us spinning. I would highly recommend your services to any bride.
Thanks again!

Geoff,
We all sat in the living room last night and watched Nikki & Talon's wedding come to life, it was truely amazing! My husband and I were speachless!
We knew when we found your site after looking at so many other videographer's work that your's was far superior to any of them... and we really looked hard! You are a true artist Geoff, and you obviously love your work to go to such care to capture each special moment and put it so perfectly to our choice of music.
My favorite part (in the long version, not being shown on this video) was what you did in the very end... going from a still black & white, fading into to color and then adding the movement to them twirling around.... OMG it was magical! It made me think "Wow my son is really married now!" You did a wonderful job of bringing their wedding to us. I felt like I was there. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Very proud mother, & very satisfied customer! (May 9, 2011 - 1:30 am)
Kristee & Nev are from Melbourne and decided to fly to the Gold Coast and host their big day here.
The boat ride to South Stradbroke is always picturesque, when the weather cooperates, and the guests seemed to enjoy the short ferry to the island while soaking up the scenery.
I have filmed quite a few weddings at An Island Hideaway now and owners Michele & Bennie always get rave reviews about their venue. I always look forward to my shoots there.

“Wow, wow, wow!!! Geoff, thank you SO MUCH for the brilliant job you did. We can’t stop smiling!!! You are every bit the genius we knew you would be. Thanks for getting our little baby in there too! We can’t wait to see what magic you work with our video! Thank you so much!” – Sandra & Jaydem
Sandra & Jaydem were a wonderful couple and I had so much fun time capturing such an important day in their lives. It all started out early with the girls as they made the preparations at a unit in Southport while the boys did what they do best by sitting around, watching footy and having a cold one at the couples’ place in Oxenford. As soon as I walked in I noticed Sabre, their pet Bull Mastiff and I couldn’t leave without getting some playful shots of him.
The ceremony and reception was on South Stradbroke Island hosted by An Island Hideaway. Where owners Bennie & Michelle always host a great wedding event. Photographers Grant and Kathy from Ashford Studio flew up from Sydney to take the snaps and despite the fact this was our first time working together we gelled perfectly. The sunset provided a sensational backdrop for the last few minutes with the bridal party before dark and I was able to film a few amazing moments on the beach.
As always, you can view the clip in high definition by clicking the HD button in the playable window. I would love to hear your feedback too by clicking ‘Add comment’ just below this posting. I spent nearly 5 hours on this edit so I really hope you all enjoy it!

Geoff, this is stunning!!! The quality of the Canon 5D Mark II is evident with the beautiful creamy bokeh throughout. The subjects "pop" with the narrow depth of field you have chosen. Very creative.
You are an artist and your work shines. These are very special memories that only video can capture...
Thanks for sharing :-) (April 20, 2010 - 9:25 am)
