I can easily say this was one of the more full on wedding shoots I have done in awhile. I think the entire day had a bit of everything and even though it was a long day of filming, Amanda & Rodney made it easy for me. When you show up to the groom’s house and a Lamborghini is parked out front and the boys decide to through Rodney in the swimming pool – you know you are in for a fun day!
The girls got ready at Carmel by the Sea in Broadbeach and when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find make up artist Donna Sullivan there getting the girls ready for the big day. I have worked with her before which makes my job so much easier.
Their ceremony was at the Serbian Orthodox Church with their reception at Hope Island Golf Club. I worked with photographer Renee Brazel for the first time and had my other shooter, Barbara, from Fisheye Studio provide a second angle at the ceremony. Ben, a former groom of mine now turned video enthusiast, assisted me most of the day and couldn’t have picked a better wedding to see for the first time.

My favourite things about this clip, the Fido shot, Sophie getting down in the hummer, remembering how beautiful Mandy looked and laughing at Rod’s little jig in the bridal dance. This was my favourite day ever.
Hmm…I think Fido finally warmed up to me on the wedding day. My favorite shot is Amanda getting out of the hummer as well.
